About SQC...​
Amanda Morgan-Taylor is the founder and Managing Director of SQC a trading company of Whistleblow Direct Ltd. Amanda has substantial exerience in the health and social care field having qualified as a nurse in 1986 and worked in senior management roles within the public sector, independent care services as well as managing a large complex charity.
Amanda has a passion for quality and 'getting it right' for people with varying levels of support needs.
Having managed very complex and challenging service areas, including her most recent role as national quality director for a large independent sector health and social care organisation, Amanda is well placed to understand the demands on the sector and gives a qualified response to these demands.
Debra has worked in the social care field for over twenty years in a number of different disciplines and roles.
As well as a BSc(Hons) in Psychology and Law, she also has an MSc in Dementia Studies from the University of Bradford and has completed a range of dementia care courses including Dementia Care Mapping and the Alzheimer’s Society Training Skills course. She has been involved in a number of national initiatives to improve care standards for older people, having had a number of articles published and spoken at national conferences.
Her care ethos is firmly embedded in person centred care and she believes that for this ethos to work the whole organisation must commit to and demonstrate this approach.
Patricia qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1979 and has worked at all levels of services for older people for 30 years. Her vast experience ranges from hands-on care delivery through management, education and strategic roles. She completed MSc in Management Practice at Salford University in 2007, consolidating experiential learning with theory and research bases.
She has expert knowledge of essential standards and current legislation relating to care services and a passionate desire to improve the lives of older people.
SQC are fortunate to be able to call upon a number of high calibre Associates to support the work we do. Our Associates have all been senior managers in health and social care organisations and bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience that enables SQC to be a leading light in the delivery of bespoke support solutions to the health and social care sector.

Robert Thorne

Anna Morris has considerable experience in clinical, operational and strategic management of mental health and learning disability services having worked in the NHS and within the Independent sector for the past 30 years. She has significant experience in commissioning and de-commissioning of clinical services. She has a MA in Continuing Professional Development and as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Anna continues to be a practicing clinician to ensure she is in touch with the provision and delivery of clinical services and thus understands the challenges faced by practicing clinicians.
Rob started out his career as a Registered Manager with an excellent Graded Service. He then moved on to become an audit/support specialist, which included services for people with a learning disability and enduring mental health conditions. Rob is also an experienced Hospital Manager assessing patients sectioned under the Mental Health Act as well as a qualified Cognitive Behaviour Therapist / Alcohol Therapist and Family Mediator
