Leading a Dementia Care Team
This is a one day course; with an option for further mentoring support upon individual negotiation. People attending this course should have knowledge of dementia and be in a position to lead and/or influence the team they work with.

The day will include sessions covering the national and regional expectations of dementia care; creating and leading a team; establishing and maintaining person centred care and promoting outcome based care.
​
The information delivered is aligned to Care for Skills QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in HSC & CYP (HSCM1; LM1c; LM2c; M3).

There is no element of assessment on this course. On completion of the day, learners will be awarded a certificate of attendance outlining the course content.
