Practicing Person Centred Dementia Care
This is a one day course for people who an existing awareness of dementia and some experience of working with people living with dementia.

The day will include sessions covering the process and experience of dementia; issues of antipsychotic medication; different approaches to dementia and working with symptoms of dementia.
​
The information delivered is aligned to Care for Skills QCF Level 3 Award Awareness of Dementia and Level 3 Certificate in Dementia Care (mandatory modules) (DEM 301; 304; 305; 308; 310; 312 & 313).
There is no element of assessment on this course. On completion of the day, learners will be awarded a certificate of attendance outlining the course content.
